East Bay Motorsports, established in 2001, is the Bay Area's premier power sports dealership.We represent the following brands at our East Bay location: Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Sea-Doo, Can-Am, Polaris, CF Moto, and KTMWe are in search for a Staff Accountant that is attentive to detail, thorough, possess a strong work ethic, and is professional and courteous when working with others.Job Responsibilities:

• Supports accounting operations by completing end of day cash reconciliations
• Maintains accounting records by making copies and filing documents
• Reconciles bank statements by comparing statements with the general ledger
• Maintains accounting databases by entering AR and AP into LightSpeed - our accounting software
• Entering new major unit inventory into LightSpeed and paying off sold units
• Finalizing deals and tracking funding on deals that are financed
• The ability to act responsibly and ethically when working with sensitive financial information, whether it's information for the company or for individuals
• The willingness and ability to comply with local, state, and federal financial regulations, as well as the regulations established by the company itselfQualifications/Skills:
  • Familiarity with LightSpeed is a plus
  • Accounting knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Reporting skills
  • Solid communication skills, with proficiency in speaking and writing
  • Organization, attention to detail, productivity, and dependabilityEducation, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
    • University/college degree in a related discipline is preferred
