• Excellent culture and peersJob DetailsJob Details:We are looking for a Fixed Asset Accountant to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for accounting for fixed assets from purchase order approval through asset disposition. This position requires an organized, highly motivated professional with strong drive and skills to drive continuous improvement for all processes related to the full capital cycle. The individual will perform a variety of tasks ranging from routine to sophisticated analysis and play a critical part in fixed asset accounting operations, including the month-end close process resulting in complete and accurate financial statements. This is a role for an energetic individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and who has excellent communication skills.Responsibilities:1. Ensure fixed assets are properly accounted for by monitoring the end-to-end process including classification, useful life, acquisitions, transfers, depreciation, disposals, and reporting.2. Prepare and review fixed asset account reconciliations and analysis to ensure completeness and accuracy and resolve account discrepancies on a timely basis.3. Monitor and report on CIP (Construction in Progress) and ensure timely capitalization of projects.4. Plan, coordinate count and record results of periodic fixed assets physical inventory.Qualifications:1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Staff Accountant role (Manufacturing industry experience preferred).3. Exceptional knowledge and understanding of GAAP and current financial trends.4. Proficiency with accounting software, specifically NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel.5. Strong experience in managing fixed assets.6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.8. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.9.
