Job Description Job Description Senior Accountant About the Role We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This position focuses on the accuracy and integrity of our general ledger through meticulous account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and financial reporting support. You'll collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with accounting standards while driving continuous improvement in our accounting operations. What You'll Do Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries across multiple general ledger accounts Support the monthly close process for assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliations Investigate variances and resolve reconciling items through thorough analysis and department collaboration Lead initiatives to streamline accounting processes, implement automation, and strengthen internal controls Utilize advanced Excel techniques to analyze financial data, identify trends, and support management reporting Coordinate audit requests and contribute to system implementation projects What We're Looking For 3 years of general ledger accounting experience; background at public companies or Big 4/national accounting firms preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required Strong foundation in journal entry mechanics and account reconciliation methodology Highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced setting Exceptional project coordination skills with consistent track record of meeting tight deadlines Meticulous attention to detail combined with strategic thinking about business context Hands-on experience with ERP systems including Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms Compensation Targeted Base salary of $100-120K Bonus Robust benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, 401(k) with matching Hybrid schedule
