Job Description:
KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting
solutions, has an immediate opening for 'Data Engineer'. We are
embarking on a journey to transform the real estate market with
technological innovations. A critical prerequisite for this
transformation is a robust data infrastructure. As a senior data
engineer, you will help us design and implement our big data
environment that is real-time, stable and scalable. You will work
with a talented data engineering team to improve our data
processing pipeline and developing new capabilities to support
mission-critical initiatives. You impact will be felt across the
team as well as the entire client organization.
Responsibilities/Duties Make major contribution to the
implementation of our real time big data initiative Build and
automate productized data processing pipelines in AWS big data
platform Help improve our development process and standards through
mentoring and leading-by-example Help define and implement data
ingestion contracts Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Create data
environment to support our data analytics, reporting and data
science teams In-depth understanding of modern big data technology,
including Hadoop and Spark Knowledge of real time data streaming
and aggregation architectural patterns and practice Proficient in
programming languages such as Python Familiarity with NoSQL as well
as SQL databases Data modeling and machine learning skill is a plus
Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in computer science, data
science or related fields Familiarity with agile developmental
process Previous experience developing data product required
Hands-on experience with real time data streaming, aggregation and
presentation strongly preferred Previous experience with production
ETL pipeline development required At least a years' experience with
AWS cloud or another cloud platformby Jobble
