At Covanta, we believe the materials discarded every day should be utilized to their fullest potential to preserve the world's valuable resources and generate clean energy for our client communities and the world we live in.Position Description:The Inside Solutions Sales Manager (Individual Contributor) is responsible for the growth of the new business in regulated medical waste and hazardous waste, forecasts, and budgets, as well as sales and administrative processes. This inside sales role is responsible for selling our Medical Waste Collections business to doctors, clinics, and hospitals in the Northern California corridor and would be a part of our expanding growing portfolio of environmental solutions providers. The seller will develop inside sales relationships with prospective and existing medical waste generators, tracks calls, current contracts, pricing, proposals, pipeline, and overall inside sales strategy and sells the Covanta services for the assigned geography, customers, and facilities. Coordinates with the Customer Service and Waste Approval teams to ensure all aspects of existing accounts are efficiently and effectively managed. Works closely with other Sales Managers to facilitate the sales process.Responsibilities:
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow our medical waste collection business. Acquire new business in a 100% hunter inside sales role.
    • Input, communicate and oversee the monthly forecast and annual budget process for assigned facility, direct accounts, and third-party environmental service companies.
    • Follow established protocols regarding contracts, credit, pricing, procedures, and documentation.Requirements:
      • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or equivalent experience.
      • Minimum 2+ years' experience with inside sales and account management, in the Hazardous or Non-Hazardous Waste industry preferred.
      • Ability to easily communicate the needs of the Covanta waste approval and facility operations processes to clients.
      • Ability to contribute both independently and in a team.
      • Ability to communicate the Covanta value proposition across all levels of the client organization.
      • Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated, and technical industry.
