American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor &
Delivery position requiring active CA licensure, L&D
experience, and advanced certifications. Responsibilities Work in a
hospital Labor & Delivery unit Day shifts with 3x12 hour schedule
from 7:00 to 19:00 Every other weekend required On-call coverage as
needed Patient care using Epic EMR (Epic experience preferred)
Patient population includes laboring and postpartum mothers as well
as newborns Responsibilities include comprehensive care of mothers
during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period Orientation
includes required online learning modules completed during
onboarding Only one holiday request off will be approved for the
contract Local candidates are accepted at a different rate Team
environment with interdisciplinary collaboration to support mother
and infant care Requirements Active CA RN license required at the
time of consideration Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery
experience required Previous travel nursing experience required
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal
Monitoring (AHA only), all in hand at time of consideration Epic
charting experience preferred Must be able to go for lab work
within 3-5 days of signing Must live at least 50 miles from the
facility to qualify for travel rate Return staff must be gone at
