Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU night shift position requiring a CA RN license and at least one year of Neuro ICU experience. Responsibilities Work in the Neuro ICU within a hospital setting Primary patient population consists of neurological critical care cases Nurse to patient ratio is 1:2 May be required to float to the Emergency Department, Step Down Unit, or Central Monitoring Department Night shift schedule: three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 Every other weekend scheduling is required Epic EMR experience is required Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend Return staff policy requires a one-year break from previous employment Only one holiday request for time off will be approved Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of accepting an offer Orientation includes required e-learning modules, with hours varying by specialty Candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible as local candidates but at the local rate Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of consideration Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS; TNCC preferred Minimum of 2 years RN experience, with at least 1 year in Neuro ICU Must have experience caring for neurological intensive care patients Epic charting system experience is required All certifications must be from the American Heart Association and in hand at time of consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-633210.
