Type: Contract Shift Type: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
Saturday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (Night). Training: First 2 weeks
Saturday - Wednesday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM. Hours per Week: 40

people heal. Roles & Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing
care to patients in a correctional medical setting, following
policies and protocols Assess, document and monitor patient
conditions, communicating changes to the care team Administer
medications and treatments safely and accurately Collaborate with
multidisciplinary staff to coordinate care and ensure continuity
Maintain safety, security and infection-control procedures
appropriate to the facility Deliver patient education and support,
promoting dignity and respect Participate in mandatory training and
maintain required certifications Qualifications Active Registered
Nurse (RN) license — California licensure highly preferred Prior
medical-surgical or correctional healthcare experience is a plus
(but strong clinical fundamentals matter most) Current BLS (Basic
Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred or obtainable shortly
after hire Demonstrated reliability and ability to work a
consistent night schedule (site requires strong attendance) Ability
to pass required background and facility clearance processes
Education Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of
Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Knowledge & Skills Strong
patient assessment and documentation skills Medication
administration and IV therapy familiarity Knowledge of infection
control and universal precautions Ability to triage, prioritize and
respond calmly in urgent situations Comfort working in a
structured, secure institutional environment Clear communication
