people heal. Roles & Responsibilities Perform accurate venipuncture
and capillary draws with care and efficiency Collect, label and
process specimens following strict chain-of-custody and quality
protocols Verify patient identity and explain procedures to help
patients feel at ease Maintain meticulous documentation in
electronic and paper records Follow infection control and safety
policies to protect patients and staff Communicate clearly with
nursing and lab teams to ensure timely specimen handling
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to keep skills
sharp Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completion of an
accredited phlebotomy program preferred Previous phlebotomy
experience in a clinical or institutional setting is a plus Ability
to pass required background checks and facility clearance Strong
interpersonal skills and comfort working with diverse patient
populations Basic computer skills for electronic charting and
specimen tracking Education High school diploma or equivalent;
phlebotomy certification preferred Knowledge & Skills Proven
venipuncture technique and specimen collection best practices
Familiarity with specimen labeling, handling, and transport
requirements Knowledge of infection control, PPE use, and safety
procedures Good communication and patient-relations skills
