registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Stepdown RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide expert nursing care
as a Stepdown RN in an acute care setting, focusing on
comprehensive assessment, coordination, and delivery of
patient-centered care. This role demands a compassionate approach
to support patients and their families through education and smooth
transitions of care. Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
to ensure holistic treatment plans that address psychological,
social, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle considerations. Key
Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing
care for stepdown patients Deliver direct patient care with
attention to individualized needs Educate patients and families on
care plans and post-discharge instructions Coordinate transitions
of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Foster
communication among patients, families, physicians, and healthcare
providers Float across multiple campuses within the healthcare
system as census demands Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current California RN licensure Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification through AHA NIHSS certification required Minimum of 2
years of stepdown nursing experience Flexibility to float mid-shift
and rotate through weekends Schedule/Hours: Day shift, 3
twelve-hour shifts per week (07:00 19:30) Weekend rotation required
