Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pharmacy Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Travel Pharmacy Technician – Inpatient Clear Lake, CA Start Date: 03/30/2026 End Date: 06/28/2026 (13 Weeks) Shift: Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM ? Schedule: 4x10s (variable schedule as needed) Position Overview Seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support hospital pharmacy operations. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, strong technical knowledge, and experience working within an acute care setting. Schedule may include Monday–Friday and weekends as needed. Required Qualifications ? Active California Pharmacy Technician License ? California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration ? Certificate of completion from a recognized pharmacy technician training program ? Minimum 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience ? Experience with Cerner ? Experience with Pyxis Responsibilities - Prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision - Operate Pyxis medication dispensing systems - Process physician medication orders in Cerner - Maintain accurate medication inventory - Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations - Support sterile and non-sterile compounding as assigned - Assist with medication reconciliation and unit restocking About Hanker Systems Inc Healthcare staffing at Hanker Systems Inc is focused on delivering the right talent to support quality patient care.
