Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor &
Delivery RN for a day shift contract requiring a California RN
license and advanced fetal monitoring certification.
Responsibilities Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit Day
shifts with a 3x12 hours schedule (7:00 to 19:00) Every other
weekend required On-call responsibilities as needed Care for
laboring mothers and newborns in a high-acuity setting Epic EMR
experience preferred Modules completed during orientation via
e-learning, with average 1-5 hours required Return staff must have
been gone at least 1 year to be eligible as a traveler Only one
holiday off will be approved during this contract Candidates must
reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel
pay Locals are accepted at a local pay rate Must provide two
supervisory references from the past two years Requirements Active
CA RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of
recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Previous travel RN experience
required Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring
certifications (AHA required) Availability to complete lab work
within 3-5 days of contract signing Epic charting experience
