Job Description:
Walmart Inc., a leader in retail innovation, seeks an
experienced Staff Software Engineer with a focus on web
technologies to join our Information Technology team in
Bentonville, Arkansas. In this role, you will be instrumental in
building and optimizing our web-based applications that enhance
user engagement and streamline operations across our vast retail
network. This position involves a blend of front-end and back-end
development, technical problem solving, and project leadership.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web
applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define,
design, and ship new features. Ensure robust code quality and
automate processes through testing and maintenance. Stay up-to-date
with emerging web technologies and propose integration of these
technologies into existing systems. Lead and mentor junior
developers in coding practices and front-end architecture
decisions. Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript
frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) Strong proficiency in server-side
languages like Python, Ruby, or Java Experience with database
management and related technologies, such as SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB,
Firebase Strong understanding of web performance optimization,
caching, and SEO best practices Familiarity with cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certifications are
preferred but not required. Examples include Certified Scrum Master
(CSM), AWS Certified Developer, and Microsoft Certified: Azure
Developer Associate.
