Job Description:
Walmart Inc., a leading global retailer, is looking for a
talented and experienced Staff Data Scientist to join our Data
Science & AI team, focusing on enhancing and innovating
conversational AI technologies. This role is pivotal as we advance
our capabilities in natural language processing and machine
learning to improve customer interactions across all digital
platforms. You will work closely with a dynamic team of engineers
and data scientists to develop sophisticated AI models that power
our chatbots and virtual assistants, helping to shape the future of
retail communication. Develop and deploy advanced machine learning
models for natural language understanding and generation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions
into Walmart's digital platforms. Lead projects aimed at optimizing
chatbot performance and user satisfaction. Stay updated with the
latest advancements in AI and machine learning, applying new
techniques to ongoing projects. Conduct A/B testing and performance
metrics analysis to enhance model effectiveness. Mentor junior data
scientists and guide their professional development. Expertise in
Python and machine learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow or
PyTorch) Strong background in NLP and conversational AI
technologies Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and
understanding of scalable AI model deployments Proficiency in data
manipulation and analysis with SQL and NoSQL databases Solid
understanding of software development principles and version
