the Venture Capital arm of Visa, responsible for identifying
relevant sectors where equity investments can advance Visa’s
commercial or strategic aims and then sourcing, diligencing,
negotiating, supporting, and monitoring the companies that form
Visa’s portfolio. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Portfolio Value
Creation & Operations, to act as a strategic bridge between Visa
and our portfolio companies. In this role, you will identify
opportunities at portfolio companies to create value and then make
it happen. You will serve as a central hub, unlocking mutually
beneficial opportunities and producing strategic insights by
connecting portfolio companies with Visa’s vast network, products,
and business units. Visa executives and portfolio companies will
see you as a key part of Visa’s corporate venture arm. Crucially,
you will also serve as the operational backbone of the portfolio.
By managing the quarterly engagement and reporting process, you
will ensure we have the financial insights and performance data
necessary to make informed strategic decisions. Responsibilities
include: Strategic Engagement & Value Creation Relationships That
Produce Results: Build relationships with key portfolio companies,
ensuring deep alignment and helping them navigate the Visa
ecosystem to identify and seize opportunities. Partner with
companies, Visa executives and Board Observers to understand the
nuances of our portfolio. Drive Commercial Impact: Develop
structured and scalable plans to create value for Ventures
Portfolio Companies - including opportunities that enhance Visa’s
capabilities and sales. Synthesize Insights: Translate engagement
findings and performance data into clear, compelling narratives for
Visa’s leadership, highlighting strategic trends, risks, and new
opportunities for collaboration. Prepare and present
company-specific and portfolio-wide insights that matter. Portfolio
Operations & Performance Analysis Manage Portfolio Health: Manage
and improve the quarterly engagement process to systematically
gather updates, track performance, and assess the overall health of
the portfolio against strategic goals. Aggressively use Generative
AI to produce automated dashboards and alerting that enable us to
observe and act on portfolio situations Integrated Financial
Oversight: Collaborate closely with Accounting, Controllership,
Legal, and Treasury to manage the flow of financial data and
operational processes, ensuring the portfolio’s financial integrity
Data-Driven Strategy: Work with Board Observers and account
managers to track quantitative and non-quantitative KPIs, using
this data to derive actionable insights that influence future
investment and partnership strategies This is a hybrid position.
Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring
Manager. ? Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 8 or more years of
relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years
of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications:
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree
or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree
(e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a
PhD 8 years of experience, preferably including 4 years in
strategic partnerships/sales, venture capital (platform or
operations), corporate/business development, or management
consulting Proven track record of driving commercial/strategic
value through partnerships or business development. Experience
identifying strategic opportunities and navigating complex internal
organizations to execute them Strong financial acumen and
analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to interpret financial
statements and understand venture capital performance metrics.
Proven hands-on experience with using GenAI tools to create
step-change improvement in workflows and results. Excellent
communication and storytelling skills. Ability to synthesize
complex performance data and engagement findings into clear,
insightful narratives for senior executives Demonstrated ability to
work cross-functionally and build deep, trusted relationships with
both external and internal stakeholders Self-starter with a
generalist mindset, capable of balancing high-level strategic
thinking with the operational discipline required for quarterly
reporting and process management Additional Information Work Hours:
Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This
position requires travel 5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical
Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.

APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is
169,100.00 to 270,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential
sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending
on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills,
experience, and location. In addition, this position may be
eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits
