Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business management or related discipline, or a combination of education and related work experience 5-7 years of experience in handling the responsibilities outlined above Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Working knowledge of ERP software Proficient in PC computer skills Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel Function & Responsibilities: Compiles information and records to prepare purchase orders for procurement of raw material, goods or services to support manufacturing, maintenance or sales activities. Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of high vacuum components. Develop, revise and maintain production schedules to insure timely shipments of all products as specified in the Master Schedule related to specified product line(s) Create and maintain all manufacturing work orders related to specified product line(s) Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times Create, maintain, and revise "soft" manufacturing routings on an as needed basis Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions Prepares production reports Assist in creation of written procedures and ensure compliance as related to all production planning activities Prepares purchase requisition to obtain materials, tools, and equipment related to assigned products line(s) Performs other duties as assigned Advises Customer Service Team on production lead times Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred) Planning: 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: One location Job Requirements:Managing capital construction and equipment planning projectsAssemble methods planning and tool manufacturing planningCreating computerized well planning project timelinesPerforming all cost engineering, planning, and scheduling activities for designated projectsCoordinate effectively with multiple planning project managersResolve planning issues identified in the customer planning meetingsDevelop and maintain the scheduling/planning process, to include production planning, distribution planning, and material planning to meet the production requirements in a controlled and timeProvide technical planning expertise in a broad range of technical projects and requirementsParticipate in project planning meetings with Project Management to develop a project plan for each capital construction projectParticipate in the development of construction schedules for assigned projectsMaintain material requirements plan to support master scheduleDeveloping and implementing project schedule status reports for the project management teamEnsure project is complying with environmental commitmentsDevelop and implement environmental compliance monitoring programs to ensure projectsProvide strategic planning and analysis for current contingency plans and other plansParticipate in planning of maintenance activitiesDiscuss space planning requirements with the customerDevelop the parts clerk for future succession as a planner scheduler, including the technical requirementsParticipate in project and move coordination planning meetingsCoordinate multi-craft job plans with all other planners when are the lead planner
