The Candidate Should Have The Following
This is a Scientist or Senior Scientist level position. Ideally, you have strengths in both product development on the benchtop, as well as expertise in technologies that support product optimization through all phases of product development.

• Technical strength with hands-on experience working in segment of beverages, highly preferrable with dairy products such as shakes or dairy beverages
• Great at communicating the 'why's' and the 'how's' on problem-solving and a passion for the business segment shows in your approach and execution
• Lead by example, mentor those around you, make things happen. Be self-directed in your work while realizing the importance of team

  • DAIRY
  • ASEPTIC PROCESS is preferrable
  • PROTEIN Beverage or dairy beverage FORMULATION
  • ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY practices
  • ENTREPRENURIAL MINDSET
  • CROSS FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION CONCEPT TO COMMERCIALIZATION EXPERIENCE WITH CO-MANUFACTURERS

    Qualifications Required
    Required: BS Food Science, Food Engineering, Biological Sciences, Engineering or similar disciplines
    Preferred: Advanced degree in a related field
    Required
    Experience:
    
    • 5 years in beverages like RTD shakes, protein beverages highly preferred
    • Formulation expertise in RTD's using ingredients in dairy, gums, stabilizers, clean label and non-GMO
    • Commercialization of products at co-manufacturing facilities
    • Collaboration with vendors/suppliers
    • Technical troubleshooting
    • Cost analysis and ingredient optimization
    • Analytical and shelf-life testing
    • Mentor junior level and communicate with production teams at co-man's when necessary
    • Travel 20-30%
