Company DescriptionEikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical

intractable classes of proteins as drug targets.PositionAs a
Research Associate at Eikon, you will support advancement of our
broad drug discovery pipeline and platform development. You will
play a key role in developing and implementing a wide variety of
assays ranging from conventional biochemistry and biophysics to
latest single-molecule imaging techniques. You will collaborate
closely with biologists, chemists, computer scientists and
microscope engineers to create and leverage new assay and screening
approaches that will push our drug discovery pipeline forward.

if neededWhat You'll Do
- Work with a team of scientists and researchers to provide
biochemical support in Eikon's drug discovery pipeline
- Design and execute protein expression in bacterial, insect,
and/or mammalian expression system
- Perform protein chromatography and basic protein
characterization, biochemically or biophysically
- Think critically and creatively to solve problems. Applying
knowledge to design and optimize biochemical or biophysical assay
to enable high throughput characterization of protein-ligand or
protein-protein interaction
- Troubleshoot unexpected results and keep up with current
scientific literature as necessaryQualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in molecular biology,
biochemistry/biophysics, or any related discipline with 2 years of
relevant experience
- Must have extensive experience with conventional protein
purification (affinity, IonEx, SEC) preferably in a FPLC system and
protein characterization (UV-Vis, SDS-PAGE, western blots)
- Some experience with any technical biochemical (ELISA, HPLC,
MS) or biophysical characterization (DSF/DLS, SPR/BLI, ITC,
MST/TRIC) is a plus
- Any experience with high throughput screening assay (FP,
AlphaScreen, TR-FRET) or drug discovery is also a plus
- Experience with cell culture is optional
- Strong organizational and communicational skills to present in
project team, departmental, or company-wide settingAt Eikon,

range for this role is $77,000 to $89,000 depending on skills,
competency, and the market demand for your expertise.
