Company DescriptionEikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical
company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of
chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel

protein movement in living cells, thereby unlocking otherwise
intractable classes of proteins as drug targets.PositionAs a Senior
Research Associate at Eikon, you will join an interdisciplinary
team of highly creative and talented individuals with outstanding
expertise in the Company's core platform technologies. You will
collaborate with scientists to establish and validate orthogonal
cell-based functional assays that will be critical in aiding our
single particle drug discovery platform and SAR campaigns. You will
work with a team of biologists, chemists, computer scientists, and
microscope engineers who rely on the assay that you develop About

- Aid in the development and validation of new cell-based assays
to profile small molecule compounds identified through single
particle screening campaigns
- Use a combination of immunofluorescence, live-cell imaging, and
other cell-based techniques to answer target related biology
questions
- Execute cell-based assays to aid in hit triage, SAR, and
hit-to-lead identification of small molecules compounds
- Generate high-quality and reproducible data in support of
project team goals
- Routinely export experimental results to team members and
peers
- Be able to adapt to new and fast-evolving methods and
techniques
- Interact with other researchers and scientists to discuss
ongoing project needs
- Perform practical lab work, schedule day-to-day tasks, and
ensure timely delivery of high-quality resultsQualifications
- BS or MS in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology or related
discipline, with 1+ or more years of academic or industry
experience in biology-related research
- Experience with mammalian cell culture and related techniques
is required
- Experience with high-throughput instrumentation techniques and
immunofluorescence is required
- Experience with quantitative and/or statistical analysis using
common software tools (GraphPad Prism, Microsoft Suite, etc.)
and/or basic computational processing (R, Python, etc.) is a
plus
