Salary Range $86,950.00 - $112,996.00 DOE
The Senior Account Executive (SAE) is responsible for leveling up the organization by growing strategic accounts within the assigned region, mentoring business development team members, driving new business initiatives, and partnering with local, regional, and national team members to achieve company revenue goals. The SAE will target high-level decision-makers to secure new and grow existing regional partnerships. This position will be responsible for coordinating local and regional customer implementations. The SAE will manage the entire sales cycle for their assigned market and accounts (vertical(s)). This position will partner with regional and branch leadership to develop a strategic plan to grow market share from their assigned accounts while securing new customers and maintaining current customer base. This individual will develop strong internal and external partnerships for the purpose of growing market share and driving company revenue goals. The SAE will also take part in the creation and facilitation of training and development programs to enhance the overall performance of the business development team.
This position will focus specifically on growing market share from the assigned territory and vertical(s).
Core responsibilities for this position are as follows but are not limited to:


  • Deliver assigned branch revenue commitment through local accounts while also growing regional accounts, mentoring business development team members, developing key insurance relationships, and surfacing national account opportunities.
  • Design, implement, and execute an account growth strategy for new and existing accounts with a regional footprint.
  • Research, identify, and consult with high-level decision-makers to secure regional partnerships and, in turn, leverage those relationships to expand nationally.
  • Drive company objectives by collaborating with internal business development and operational teams, local, regional, and national, to identify, grow, and develop strategic accounts through total account penetration and implementation of marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with the sales leader to provide sales support to Account Executives (AE) and Business Development Associates (BDA).
  • Create, develop, and execute training and mentorship programs for the business development team to develop specific skill sets that enrich the team member and add value to the customer.
  • Actively search for prospects and develop new accounts by telephone, scheduling in-person appointments, and attending local and regional events.
  • Execute and support the operational aspect of business secured (i.e., proposals, contracts, vendor set up, customer correspondence, SOPs) to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and programs to support the organization's revenue objectives.
  • Coordinate and lead targeted efforts to execute company insurance strategy with the goal of building and developing key relationships throughout the insurance industry.
  • Understand overall market dynamics, along with scanning and identifying emerging business opportunities and risks with assigned accounts, and provide feedback to leadership.
