As a licensed Land Surveyor and the successful applicant for The Transportation Surveyor Party Chief position, you will be working directly for the Branch Chief who oversees day-to-day operations for the Southbay Field offices in District 4. Your duties will include but are not limited to, supervising a survey crew of Caltrans employees as well as consultants, performing complex survey requests for construction staking as well as location jobs. Performing data processing, keeping accurate records of work performed, and interfacing with other Caltrans employees as well as the general public. See CalHR for a complete job description.
